What are the registration fees?
Registration fees may vary by age and division. Please click HERE for baseball and softball registration fees.
How do we register?
Registration is conducted online. Please click HERE to register your child/children. You also need to submit required registration documents, and an explanation of all the forms/documents that are required can be found HERE.
How do we pay?
Payment can be made online via credit card, or in person via credit card, cash, or check. All checks must be made payable to Interbay Little League. Credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee.
Are discounts available for siblings?
Yes, there is a $25 sibling discount applied to a second child, provided the children are registered at the same time.
What is included with registration?
The league provides a jersey and hat for baseball players, and a jersey and socks for softball players. The league does not provide pants nor any other parts of the uniform (belt, accessories, etc.), nor does it provide equipment that may be necessary to play, such as a glove, bat, helmet, and cleats.
What does a typical week during the season involve?
Prior to the the start of games, most teams will practice twice a week. When games start, most teams typically will practice once and play twice during the week, once on a weeknight and once on Saturday. Practice and game schedules do vary by team and by division based on multiple factors, including coach availability, field availability, and availability of other teams.
How many fields does Interbay Little League have and where are they located?
Interbay Little League has six fields and they are all located at 6901 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa, FL, 33611. The easiest way to reach the park is to take MacDill Ave. south as far as it goes; Interbay Little League will be on your right prior to reaching the MacDill AFB gate.
Will all my child’s games be played at Interbay Little League?
More than likely, no. Interbay Little League interlocks with other District 6 leagues in most divisions, meaning games could be played at any of those locations as well. You can find location information on other District 6 leagues HERE. All leagues in District 6 are located in Tampa.
Can I request a particular coach or team?
We no longer accept requests to be placed on specific teams. The only exceptions are for siblings who are eligible to play in the same division; these children will be placed on the same team if assigned to the same division.
If I am interested in coaching, what do I need to do?
All prospective coaches must fill out a volunteer form and pass a background check, as well as complete mandatory concussion training. You can find more information HERE.
Are there opportunities to volunteer outside of being a coach?
Yes! Interbay Little League welcomes and encourages individuals to get involved. Park cleanup/maintenance days and postseason tournaments are some of the biggest times when we need volunteer help. Can girls play baseball?
Yes, girls are welcome to play in any baseball division.
When are the league’s board of directors meetings held?
Board of directors meetings are typically help the second Sunday of each month at 7 pm in the press box at Field B.
